Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1.5 cups plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 egg beaten with a splash of water
  • 2 tbsp seasoning sesame seeds, poppy seeds, coarse salt, everything bagel, etc.

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, mix together the self-rising flour and Greek yogurt until a shaggy dough forms.
  • Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and divide it into 4 pieces.
  • Roll each piece into a smooth log (about 8" long) and then shape it into a circle.
  • Pinch the seams to seal the dough together (so it doesn't lose its shape while cooking).
  • Place as many bagels as will fit into your air fryer (they will increase in size slightly so don't overcrowd the air fryer basket). Brush the bagels with egg wash and then sprinkle with your seasoning of choice.
  • Cook the bagels at 350ºF/176ºC for 10 minutes, or until they are golden brown on the outside and fully cooked on the inside.
  • Allow the bagels to cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing – this will prevent them from becoming gummy in the center.
  • Serve with your favorite bagel toppings and enjoy.
