- 2 pork steaks
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp ground sage
- 1/4 tsp dried rosemary
- 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
- 2 tbsp butter
Preheat the air fryer to 400ºF/200ºC for 5 minutes.
Pat the pork steaks dry with a paper towel and set them aside.
In a small bowl, combine the olive oil and spices (salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, sage, rosemary, and black pepper) to create a spice paste.
Rub the paste over the pork steaks, making sure to coat them on all sides.
Place the pork steaks in the air fryer basket and place 1 tablespoon of butter on each piece of pork.
Cook at 400ºF/200ºC for 8 minutes and then let the pork rest in the air fryer for an additional 5 minutes.
The internal temperature should be 145ºF/71ºC – if it isn't cook the pork for an additional 2 minutes and test again.
