For the Short Ribs
- 2.5-3 pounds bone-in beef short ribs English Style
- 1/4 cup soy sauce or tamari
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped, for garnish
Pat the short ribs dry and place in a bowl.
Add the tamari, brown sugar, olive oil, garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to a bowl. Stir to combine. Pour over the short ribs and mix until the short ribs are covered. Let marinade for at least 2 hours, up to 8 hours.
Preheat the air fryer to 360F for 5 minutes.
Place the short ribs in the air fryer basket, with the meat portion facing down. You may need to cook the short ribs in batches depending on how big they are and how big your basket is.
Cook at 360°F/180°C for 10 minutes. Flip the ribs and then brush with leftover marinade if desired.
Cook an additional 10-15 minutes, until the ribs reach an internal temperature of about 190°F.
Let the ribs sit for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley and enjoy.
